Book Giveaway: Fifty Dresses

I had intended to run a giveaway when I reached 50 followers but time just ran away from me. Instead I am celebrating the 70 benchmark by offering one of my lovely readers a copy of Fifty Dresses That Changed the World, currently being watched over by pug bookends Salt and Pepper.
Highlighting fifty iconic or trendsetting dresses - from Fortuny's Delphos pleated dress in 1915 to Hussein Chalayan's light infused LED shift in 2007 - Fifty Dresses has loads of illustrations and will no doubt prompt much debate.
To enter all you have to do is leave a comment on this post and let me know what dress, past or present, has left you speechless. And for a second entry become a follower of this blog, or if you already are, just let me know and you'll get a second bite of the cherry too. Don't forget to include your email address.
The giveaway is open to readers worldwide and I'll be announcing the winner next Tuesday 9 February, the day after my new niece or nephew is due to be born (how excitement!).
The book is part of the Fifty series published by Octopus Books.

What a wonderful giveaway! So many iconic dresses....of course, my top choice is definitely the little black dress worn by Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany's shown on the cover of the lovely book, but I would also list Princess Diana's wedding dress as really life- and fashion world-changing ;)

Louise what a great giveaway! I've heard so much about the awesome book you're offering, thought I'd better enter and be in with the chance.

Reese Witherspoon's silver beaded vintage Dior gown she wore to the 2006 Academy Awards (where she won Best Actress for her role in Walk the Line).
Hands down the most beautiful, breathtaking dress I've ever seen! My email is countess_de_vintage@hotmail.com

P.S I Could recite every single word of Adventures in Babysitting - could you do it too?!? :)

I'm so very easy to impress so it's hard to think of something but one dress that does come to mind is the one that Jayne Mansfield wears at the end of The Girl Can't Help It. You can see it here.
It's over-the-top and slightly gaudy but that's what I love about it!

How about that pink satin evening gown that Marilyn Monroe wears when she sings "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend"? Love, love, love that one!
